Holiday shopping to benefit Persad Center

What Riverside Design is opening its warehouse to host a holiday sale that benefits LGBTQ organization Persad Center. Gift options include "handcrafted glass, plates, serving platters, bowls, ornaments and chocolates." Vessel Studio, Toffee Taboo, All U Can Handle, Springdale Floral and Wearhaus will also be on site. Half of the proceeds benefit Persad.

Celebrate Krampusnacht in Market Square

What Have you been naughty this year? Then you'll want to celebrate Krampusnacht in Market Square, which is currently home to the Peoples Holiday Market. The Krampus Krawl, or Krampuslauf, begins at 7 p.m. Per the organizers, it's "a run of celebrants dressed as Krampus, often fueled by alcohol. It is customary to offer a Krampus schnapps. The procession often takes on the appearance of a parade, with the hairy beasts performing for onlookers."

For one day, you can shop at the Pittsburgh airport

What Here's your chance to browse the airside terminal's shops without having to leave Pittsburgh. Free parking with in-store specials, live music and a visit from Santa. Registration and ID are required. "Walk-ups are welcome, but may experience a longer wait for security processing," the airport notes.
