Sword fighting, scavenger hunt at ‘Lord of the Rings’ night

As part of its After Dark series, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History is hosting a "Lord of the Rings" night. The event features medieval sword fighting demonstrations, a talk by museum director Dr. Eric Dorfman, the live drawing of a Shire-style map of the museum and a scavenger hunt. There will also be a costume contest. Beer, wine and food will be available for sale. 21+.

Where: Carnegie Museum of Natural History at 4400 Forbes Ave. (Oakland)

When: December 2, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
