Your last-minute guide to under-$20 New Year’s Eve parties in Pittsburgh

One features *free pork and sauerkraut.*

Christmas is over, and New Year’s Eve is right around the corner. It doesn’t help that you’re probably a little cash poor at the moment.

Because this is Pittsburgh, there will be midnight fireworks as part of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s First Night. This also being Pittsburgh, there are plenty of elevations from which to watch the Downtown display for free. (Discover the Burgh has a rundown of good watch spots.)

But if your desired plan involves reveling in public, there are a couple of under-$20 options. One includes free pork and sauerkraut, which is a Pennsylvania must.
