It may have felt like spring this weekend, but it’s not spring until the groundhog says it is … or until March 20.

Sure, Punxsutawney is only about 80 miles away, and there’s plenty to do there if you want to make the trek. But if you want to celebrate (or mourn) Phil’s prediction here, there are ways to do that without leaving Pittsburgh. Plus, you can watch a live stream on the big day (Feb. 2).

Hear a live reading of the 1993 movie "Groundhog Day" at either 7 or 9 p.m. (Or re-live it and hear it twice.)

Where: Arcade Comedy Theater at 811 Liberty Ave. (Downtown)

See "Groundhog Day" with drink specials, such as sweet vermouth on the rocks with a twist, and a free beer tasting. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the movie is at 8 p.m.

Watch ‘Groundhog Day’ with breakfast

Have breakfast and then watch "Groundhog Day" to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Buy brunch tickets by 11 p.m. March 15. (Yes, just before spring starts, for real.)

It's time to celebrate "the most overlooked holiday in the United States." There will be ice luges, a live radio broadcast, beer and liquor specials and groundhog hats.

Run like a groundhog (or something faster)

Celebrate by running 2.2 miles for 2-2-2017. It's a virtual race, so run any time in February and submit your time to get your medal in the mail.Fifteen percent of each registration will go to the International Children’s Heart Foundation.
