Join in on a ‘Unity in Community’ ceremony

During "Unity in Community" — the closing Kwanzaa Ceremony of the Homewood Holiday Market — "elders" and "young warriors" will be given affirmations and resolutions to recite to each other in the spirit of bridging generational gaps, fostering multi-generational relationships, and pledging to one another to work in solidarity to advance the community. The ceremony will be held on the fifth day of Kwanzaa.

Where: Homewood Market at 700 Dallas Ave. (Homewood West)

When: December 30, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:20 p.m.
