This week is all about the arts.

First, there’s our celebration of those skilled in the art of communication. Then, in the visual arts section, there’s ArtTrap’s Paint Nite, Art All Night, and a Downtown art crawl. As for performing arts, there’s music, theater, and opera (including a special deal for Incline readers).

🎵 5:45 p.m. Friday (Oakland): Listen to bluegrass music while supporting St. Joseph House of Hospitality, which helps men over 50 experiencing homelessness.

🐱 10 a.m. Saturday (Ohio Township): At the Pawp Up Yard Sale, get a good deal on pet supplies, like collars, leashes, beds, and toys, with proceeds benefitting Animal Friends.

🎭 11 a.m. Saturday (Crawford-Roberts): Celebrate the late playwright’s birthday at the annual August Wilson Birthday Celebration: A Hill District Block Party, featuring games, food, performers, face painting, and vendors.
