Nominate under-40 Pittsburghers for The Incline’s Who’s Next: Food & Beverage 2019

Update Sept. 11, 2019: Who’s Next: Food & Beverage 2019; Meet 11 people elevating Pittsburgh’s dining scene

Pittsburgh’s food and beverage scene continues to get a lot of attention — awards, media accolades, and lots of local buzz.

But what’s behind that Instagrammable plate or photoshoot-worthy cocktail?

Who’s behind the scenes in kitchens and on farms? And who’s making sure our city’s food ecosystem is sustainable, equitable, and just? Tell us.

For our next Who’s Next class, we here at The Incline want to spotlight under-40 pros working in kitchens, opening restaurants, increasing access to food, making food sustainability a priority, focusing on health, and pouring (and brewing and distilling and stirring) drinks. We’re looking for restaurateurs, chefs, activists, farmers, bakers, bartenders, sommeliers, hosts, and anybody making happy hour happier. If you need more inspiration, check out last year’s list.

And we need your help.

Use this form to nominate young leaders defining Pittsburgh’s food scene before 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26. We’ll assemble a class of the standouts — and throw a party for them that you can attend, too.

Who’s Next, presented by S&T Bank, allows The Incline to introduce you today to Pittsburgh’s up-and-coming stars. Catch up on our previous Who’s Next classes here.

Bon appétit and cheers!
