Sarah Anne hails from the District of Columbia, where she served as managing editor of the alt-weekly Washington City Paper and editor-in-chief of DCist, a local site that covers news, food and culture. Before that, she blogged about national news and pop culture for The Washington Post.
She’s covered everything from pedestrian and transportation issues topolitics and, most notably, the District’s family homelessness crisis. Sarah Anne is a graduate of American University and was raised in Alexandria, Va., and Lancaster, Pa.
