A day on the farm — without leaving Pittsburgh

Tour more than a dozen urban agriculture sites in the Pittsburgh area — including Braddock Farms, the Homewood Historical Community Farm and Steel City Soils — with the East End Food Co-op and Pittsburgh Food Policy Council. Bring water bottles (for water) and coolers (for goodies from the farms). Some sites will have food available for sale. The tour is self-guided.

Compete in a brunch-off, listen to live music

Enjoy the music of Allegheny Brass Band at an outdoor concert series. Guests are invited to bring along a brunch — and even to compete in a best brunch competition.

Make your own mini-greenhouse

Learn how to make a "personal greenhouse" (a.k.a. a terrarium) with the help of a Frick artist and instructor. The workshop, which includes materials, will offer guidance in designing, constructing and personalizing houseplant arrangements. Advance registration and pre-payment is required.

Here comes the sun

Beatles tribute tunes from "The British Invasion Experience" will be the soundtrack for the evening featuring food trucks, shopping and tours of the Clayton house. The stand-out Cafe at the Frick will debut a wine bar offering walk-up service for light bites, cocktails, beer and wine.
