A recent study found that the race of victims plays a role in death sentences here in the commonwealth, the Associated Press reports. "The race of a victim and the type of representation afforded to a defendant play more important roles in shaping death penalty outcomes in Pennsylvania than do the race or ethnicity of the defendant," per the Penn State research. So what does that mean for defendants?
