WHY DRIVERS BRAKE BEFORE TUNNELS, ACCORDING TO SCIENCE

IT’S BEEN TWO WEEKS OF HELLISH COMMUTES; THANKS, BRIDGE TARP
Today marks two weeks since the Liberty Bridge literally caught fire and had to be closed. Catch up here on the spark, the tarp and the anticipated “liquidated damages.” (By the way, PennDOT said Thursday that the bridge’s reopening — already pushed back from Sept. 12 to Monday — may be delayed again.)

Meanwhile, CommonWealth Press decided Pittsbughers needed (deserved?) a commemorative tee to mark the headache. (And if you loved the Godzilla v. Liberty Bridge conspiracy theory as much as we did, Alternate Histories is selling its 2017 calendar on Saturday.)
