100 YEARS LATER, ANOTHER HOUDINI
On Nov. 6, magician Lee Terbosic will be suspended in a straight jacket above Liberty Avenue and Wood Street, where Harry Houdini did the same thing a century ago, PennLive’s Lisa Wardle reports. In other trips to Pittsburgh, Houdini “invited participants to tie him up at the Grand Opera House in 1905 and jumped off the Seventh Street bridge while restrained in 1907 and 1908,” she writes.
