On Wednesday, Pittsburgh City Council tabled a bill that would create an advisory board on bike lane infrastructure with plans to take it up again next week after it’s reworked. Councilwoman Theresa Kail-Smith said the proposal she introduced was not meant to be “adversarial," but added, “We are getting a lot of complaints regarding bike infrastructure." Bike Pittsburgh supports bike advisory committees, its advocacy director Eric Boerer said, but only if the board adopts best practices.

Following the killing of dozens of people in an Orlando nightclub, president-elect Donald Trump's campaign sent an email that included a photo of Allegheny County police officers and the text "Make America Safe Again!" The use of the photo — taken at a June 11 rally at Pittsburgh International Airport — was not authorized by the county, whose Police Superintendent Coleman McDonough asked the campaign not to use it again. As TribLive reports, Trump used it again, this time in a tweet about National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The county declined to comment this time around.

And that record includes being 15-9 when it comes to the NFL Playoffs Divisional round. So here's our ranking of those wins. Also, in Steelers news, the Allegheny County DA said Joey Porter will face two summary charges for an incident on Sunday on the South Side, and other charges, including a felony will be withdrawn.
