A week before you head to the polls to cast your vote in the primary, you’re invited to attend a mayoral forum featuring Pittsburgh City Council member Darlene Harris, incumbent Mayor Bill Peduto and Rev. John Welch presented by The Incline and 90.5 WESA. You can join us on May 9 at 7 p.m. (seating is limited, so RSVP now) or you can listen live on 90.5 FM or online. But first — we need your questions for the candidates.

Pittsburgh is beginning to distribute free water filters as part of its Safe Water Plan to address lead concerns. The city will provide filters to more than 300 "family health centers, pediatricians, assistance offices and childcare providers" so they can be distributed to families with children under the age of 6. Members of the public in Pittsburgh and Millvale should fill out this form to request a filter or a lead testing kit. Related: Allegheny County is launching a lead task force, TribLive reported.
