Pennsylvania’s disgraced ex-attorney general Kathleen Kane was sentenced Monday to spend at least 10 months behind bars for leaking confidential information and perjuring herself to cover it up (and she also got a parking ticket). After her term at the Montgomery County Correctional facility, she faces an eight-year probation, Anna Orso reported for The Incline’s sibling site Billy Penn. “When you put your hand on the Bible,” the judge told Kane, “you weren’t thinking of [your children]. You were thinking of yourself.”
NORTH SIDERS: BUSES STINK
PORT AUTHORITY: NO THEY DON’T
What happens when a group of neighbors say they don’t want buses to stop near their homes? That’s happening on the North Side, where some Brighton Heights residents told Ed Blazina of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that they don’t want “very loud … very smelly” buses to stop in their cul-de-sac. Port Authority’s response: Our buses don’t smell.

Oh, and if you missed Clinton and Trump while they were in Western Pennsylvania this weekend, we took a look at both of their speeches to see what they said over and over and over.

THE INCLINE LIKES
Halloween is still a week away, but it’s starting to look a lot like Christmas on Grant Street. It’s not just about holiday cheer. The city received funding for new light-up wreaths so the decorations are being installed early to make sure everything is ready by Light Up Night, mayoral spokeswoman Katie O’Malley told The Incline.
KNOCKOUT THE WALL TACOS
It was the failed jump heard ’round the world. (A quick refresher: After #PittSpiderman tried leaping between two Oakland buildings, he got stuck and broke an ankle, and a wall had to be busted out at Qdoba so he could be rescued.) Well, the restaurant reopened Monday with a special: knockout-the-wall tacos, KDKA reported.
