That's the number of people in Pittsburgh's congressional district who benefited from Medicaid expansion under Obamacare and who stand to lose coverage if the American Health Care Act becomes law. Billy Penn broke down the numbers by congressional district, showing that tens of thousands of people in Western Pa. have an ACA plan or are on Medicaid because of the expansion. Only one congressman from this area, Democrat Mike Doyle, voted against the AHCA.
We asked for your favorite food trucks, and you gave us a wide range of cuisine to create the Ultimate Pittsburgh Food Truck bracket. Using your nominations and our research, we broke it down to four — possibly slightly odd, yet delicious — categories. There's comfort food, tacos, sandwiches n'at and a wild card category. Now it's time for you to do some research (eating) and vote.
The Pens fell to the Caps 5-2 Monday night after trailing 5-0 in what could be their last home game of the season, should they lose at Washington in Game 7. "We believe in our group. We've got to move forward and make sure we're in the right frame of mind for Game 7," head coach Mike Sullivan said after the loss. Game 7 will be Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on NBCSN, and while all the momentum is with the suddenly-hot Capitals, history is on the side of the Penguins. In 290 NHL playoff series, only 28 teams have come back from a 3-1 deficit to win. We said the Caps were dead after Game 4. Did we jinx the Pens?

You may be inclined to answer "duh, yes," but you'll probably feel less confident after watching this video of Pittsburgh students competing in "Colors of the Rainbow." The Incline's Jasmine Goldband was there as seven teams from Pittsburgh Public Schools and two Extra Mile schools from the Hill District and Wilkinsburg danced the merengue, foxtrot, rumba, tango and swing. Only one team won, but really — anyone who watches the video is a winner.
For the uninitiated, there are a number of things to know about city chicken. No. 1, the regional delicacy is not made with chicken — ideally, it's a pork-veal mixture breaded on skewers. It's also important to know, as Eater helpfully pointed out in a piece about the dish, that you can still buy it in Pittsburgh. Or you could convince your favorite yinzer to share their grandmom's recipe.
