Bus shelters, crosswalks, sidewalks, street lights and wheelchair-accessible curbs could be improved in Homewood as the Urban Redevelopment Authority said "it will issue a contract this spring for design work," per the Post-Gazette. “It means an opportunity for improvements like walkability and other activities that aren’t easy in this area,” one woman who works at a Homewood nonprofit told the paper.
