For more than two hours Saturday, Pittsburghers lined up to ask a question or share a health insurance-related story with local U.S. Rep Mike Doyle. He has been clear in his opposition of the new American Health Care Act and hosted a town hall in Oakland where he told the crowd he thinks there's a 50-50 chance of defeating the bill. These were the four big questions Pittsburghers asked of him.
Pittsburgh Airbnb hosts earned roughly $6.2 million in 2016. But it’s unclear how much tax money went to Allegheny County from those hosts and others who rent using online booking agents. That's because the county can't track which hosts pay the tax through Airbnb, which ones pay it on their own and which ones don't pay at all. And speaking of the hotel tax, here's why it could increase.
