Banish winter by chucking a snowball into the Ohio

Folks who remembered to save a snowball from this winter can toss the icy relic into the river using a snowball slingshot. Other solstice-themed activities include two live science demonstrations to help beat the heat, snowflake make-and-takes, an ice moon activity in the Buhl Planetarium and snow cones available for purchase. All-ages welcome.

Where: Carnegie Science Center at 1 Allegheny Ave. (North Shore)

When: June 21, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Let’s do the ‘Time Warp’ at the Science Center

Celebrate Halloween with Rocky Horror at this 21+ Night. Costumes welcome; live music and cash bar. "It's just a jump to the left. And then a step to the right."

How much: $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
