Reflect on the winter solstice with yoga

In recognition of the winter solstice, a Downtown yoga studio will host a candlelight yoga practice set to live music. Held on the longest night of the year, this class will be an intention-setting practice for an abundant 2018.

Go step by step in the South Side

Ever wonder what lies at the top or bottom of those public stairs in South Side Park? Well, you can find out with this self-guided tour of the hillsides and spectacular views that exist there. This event combines photography, historic narrative and a sense of a neighborhood dependent upon steps. Each pre-registered trekker receives a map and a course narrative. Please remember to bring a canned food item to help stock the Brashear Association Food Pantry.

Find some Monday evening zen

Join MoWa Yoga for some Monday night relaxation at this vinyasa yoga class held at Kenny's. The workshop is free to Homewood residents, YMCA members and members of the Kingsley Association. For all others, the class is a pay-what-you-can system.

Explore Open Streets

Explore a three-mile stretch of car-free Pittsburgh roads from Market Square to the North Side to the West End. Try a spin class, get zen at a yoga class, and learn to bhangra on the bridge. Plus, a pop-up canine carnival hosted by Humane Animal Rescue.

Outdoor yoga with the Pittsburgh Cello Quartet

The Carnegie Museum of Art is hosting outdoor yoga accompanied by the Pittsburgh Cello Quartet. Bring your own mat. Class is first-come, first-served. No pre-registration is available.
